This is the standard hygiene treatment but also includes stain removal using our airflow machine. The machine uses a fine air-polishing powder to remove heavy stains caused by smoking or drinking tea or coffee. This treatment is great for patients who have sensitive teeth and usually find the ultrasonic cleaning very sensitive.
Towards the end of the dental hygiene appointment the hygienist will advise you, in personalised detail, on ways to optimise your dental hygiene levels with maintenance care at home. This could include how to use dental floss effectively and alternatives to using dental floss for those who find it particularly difficult and/or inconvenient to use. The dental hygiene appointments can also work in conjunction with your dentists appointments to get the best results from your dental treatment.
